Breast cancer: survival and social stigma

This article describes a research carried out in an oncology ward of a hospital in Northern Argentina. The research involved survivors with breast cancer who perform follow-up checks at 1-2-3-4- and 5 years. Twenty focused narrative interviews were collected in this public hospital hosting economically disadvantaged people without social security. The textual materials collected were analyzed by Atlas.ti software.
