PARAMETRIC AND COMPUTATIONAL DESIGN PROCESSES FOR
THE DEFINITION OF REGENERATIVE CLIMATE ADAPTIVE DESIGN
STRATEGIES FOR THE SECONDIGLIANO DISTRICT
Abstract
The study aims to define simulation processes with IT tools of Parametric and
Computational Design as support in the environmental analysis of open spaces and the
energy analysis of buildings. The aim is to define strategies of regenerative climateadaptive
design in response to the environmental stimuli due to climate change with
repercussions on the built open space, in particular to the increase in temperatures in the
city. This approach establishes a methodological advancement to similar experiences in the
controlled definition, using IT tools, of the possible choices to be made within complex
building processes, offering the possibility of describing multiple intervention scenarios
based on the evolution and refinement of the scenarios future climatic conditions.
