Vico and Factive Intimacy

Today more than ever, Vico's thought does not cease to spread into ever wider cultural contexts, proliferating through a dialogue kept alive by those scholars who draw inspiration from his work. Reciprocally, Vico's reflection never ceases to show the many traces of the vastness and diversity of his interests, which have been nourished by the work of scholars from the most diverse cultural realities. Rocinante's monographic volume makes the point, in a punctual and in-depth manner, of the dialogue that Vico entertained and continues to entertain within Iberian and Ibero-American culture, testifying to the topicality and importance of his work today. This article aims, in this direction, to draw some cues from the various communications in an attempt to show how Vico's reflection is animated by a sort of analytic of intimacy.
