This contribution will present, after having clarified some basic assumptions of transformative and bio-educational learning models, the main results of a research synthesis carried out on 16 contributions relating to the international context, in order to be able to answer the following question: is it possible assess skills through the use of role-playing games? After the description of the characteristics of the contributions in question and the analysis of the main quantitative-qualitative results, some useful considerations will be reported for the possible realization of educational research paths, that could have as their object the use of role-playing games as tools for assessing skills, also by a bioeducational perspective.
