In this article, we are trying to examine the wisdom or mystery of death and its relation to human life, with a special emphasis on the Islamic and mystical view. Death means transference, not a nothing, and therefore, as a life itself, is a created reality; it is existential rather than negative. Therefore, denying, pretending ignorance, and reluctantly seeing it as a definitive reality is false and inauspicious. Because the life and death are like two sides of a coin, without understanding and precise explanation of one of them, the interpretation of other one is difficult and incomplete. Nevertheless, some because of neglect and ignorance, and others because of their black case, have in vain fear of death and escape it! While the best solution is piety and willingness to death through the practice of their duties and religious obligations. Death has important qualities, including the fact that everyone admits the death is personal, unique, mysterious and unexpected. Also, it is a turning point in everyone's life so that it divides human life into the before and after, in other words, into the worldly life and the otherworldly life. Eventually, after the death, the destiny of the winners and losers of the worldly race of the human being is revealed, and any protest against the referee is neither possible nor desirable!
