Working on the Natorp’s report presented at the Kantgesellschaft in Halle in 1912 (Kant und die Marburger Schule), the work aims to describe what Paul Natorp means by “transcendental method”. In this paper, an attempt is made to compare the theses of the Marburg philosopher with the Kant’s first Critique, showing if is possible and how can be defined Kant's philosophy of culture. Furthermore, we want to show here how the dense relationship of ’12 is a fundamental tool also from the point of view of the critical studies of the neo-Kantian reflection, being presented the same year as the publication of the Natorpian Allgemeine Psychologie nach kritischer Methode, among the most controversial works and discussed the philosopher.
