Abstract

When we think about what might be the common areas of historical research and of psychological and psychoanalytic research, we usually think about the categories of construction and interpretation, but also about those of narration and temporality. If you think at the narrative act inherent in every writing of history and at its hermeneutical implications (but also practical and existential, at the level of individuals and of community), we will see exactly how many points of contact may be created between history and psychoanalysis.
