Abstract

In Campania, the Blue and Green Infrastructure networks still present themselves as the supporting structure of the landscape, capable of innervating the entire regional dimension, while profoundly changing through the urban, peri-urban and natural contexts, characterizing themselves for their enormous potential in terms of regeneration. Within this contribution, therefore, we want to represent a working method which, using the InVEST model suite as a tool for assessing the provision of ecosystem services, defines a multi-scale supply chain that goes from regional landscape planning to that of some plans state-of-the-art municipal urban planning, in which the IBVs are assumed as an interpretative device and supporting frame of the territorial project. The choice of the two case studies of a municipal nature, the PUC of Marigliano and that of Giugliano, present important elements of interest because they are two municipalities crossed by the hydraulic system of the Regi Lagni and in which the agricultural component of the territory is still very present. The methodology described, the tools used and the outcomes, at all scales, aim to provide planning support for identifying the potential in terms of ecological reconnection and landscape qualification.
