Abstract

The articles that make up this dossier are the result of a seminar held on October 28, 2019 at the Università Roma Tre, and discuss the volume by Riccardo Rao, Il tempo dei lupi. Storia e luoghi di un animale favoloso. The papers address mainly the relationship between environment, humans and wolves and examine the multiple perceptions of the wolf, especially in the late Middle Ages and in contemporary times. A short reply by the author follows.
