Abstract

New Testament as well as Greek and Latin authors must be regarded as relevant and helpful sources for the comprehension of multifaceted identity markers associated to Jews in Greek-Roman Diaspora, as well as for cultural and religious features well attested in Jewish texts produced in that background (including proto-Christian texts).
