Abstract

On the basis of the experience of Reti Medievali, this article focuses on the way historians have looked and look at the Internet. Therefore, it addresses an issue that lies at the crossroads between the evolution of information and communication technologies, the trasformations of historiography and historical methods, the changes in the market of scientific communication, and the criteria for publications assessment.
