Gianni Ferrara, teacher, italian lawAbstract
With Gianni Ferrara, one of the great protagonists in the history of Italian law has passed away.
Born in Casal di Principe in 1929, Ferrara spent his youth in Naples where, after graduating from the Liceo Umberto, he graduated in Law at the Federico II University. He returned to Naples as a full professor to take over the chair of constitutional law that had once been held by Alfonso Tesauro. At the turn of the century, he ended his intense university activity at the Sapienza University in Rome, where he had been teaching in recent times.
