The work, by reviewing the volume “Diritto costituzionale e nuove tecnologie” edited by G. Ferri, offers an overview of the main consequences produced by the digital revolution on constitutional law. The analysis develops along three fundamental lines. First, it examines in depth the impact of new technologies on online communication and on consent formation processes; secondly, it analyses the effects in terms of the exercise of fundamental rights, such as the right to education or the right to health; in the end, it examines the incidence on decision-making processes, for instance during the expression of the right to vote. The contribution shows the risks and the opportunities for each of the three lines of research considered, underlining the increasingly important role played by the European regulation in the attempt of ruling the current transformation processes
