Abstract

The right of asylum integrates a theme that has always animated legal reflection because of the importance that it has assumed within international law. With this short essay we want to highlight the different ideology and philosophy that exists at the base of this institute by comparing the internal order, the European one and finally the international one. This analysis will be preceded by an analysis of the historical and philosophical origins of asylum and the relationship between the asylum seeker and the refugee.
