Partisan, interned in the Bolzano lager, engaged in the PCI, elected in the Provincial, and Regional Council and member of Parliament, Laura Conti (Udine 1921-Milan 1993) was among the promoters of the Lega per l’Ambiente and later President of the Scientific Committee of Legambiente. After the accident in Seveso, the ecology and the defense of the health and the right to know of the people were the heart of its political work in the Association, in the Party, in the Institutions. She spoke and wrote about science in a rigorous and clear way to all, adults and children. Great populator, but not only; she reworked the biological and ecological themes, with an original contribution, accompanying the political or scientific essays with the novels, where she elaborated the emotions of her perceptive richness as a woman.Downloads
