Abstract

The workshop "Antigone", seminar interdisciplinary research created by the teaching of Greek in Istoria "field of the PhD in Gender Studies, since its inception has aimed to compete with texts and problems of different chronological context that, in view of typically, would allow comparisons and similarities between ancient and modern. Fully adequate to these criteria, the contributions of Anna Gargiulo (psychologist) eFrancesco Muollo (historical).

Claudia Montepaone, Università degli Studi di Napoli Federico II

laudia Montepaone was Professor of Greek History at the University Federico II of Naples, Now she is member of the PhD in gender studies as “Esperto esterno”. Her scientific interests are mainly related to the problems of history, regarding Modern Historiography of Antiquity, but above all she studies the history of the cults in the archaic and classic age with particular emphasis, according to a perspective of gender history, on the female role within the dynamics of the polis.
