Abstract

The work analyzes the experience of melancholy starting from a life tale, Les Mots pour le dire by Marie Cardinal, and seeking in it the experiences and the emotions which can be related to the  path of female subjectivation. Within it, the autobiographical writing, becomes the instrument through which takes shape the brave attempt to allow to grief to express itself.     A tormented journey, which allows to the authoress to plunge in that dimension of the void, typically feminine and melancholic, recognizing new features in it. Not the void anymore but the endless chances.
