Abstract

Reading Benedetto Croce today, delving deeper into his thought, means retracing and reevaluating not only his aesthetics or his historiographical theory, but also the role that Croce played in national politics, especially during the crucial years of World War II and the immediate postwar period, while emphasizing, at the same time, the link between the concrete political action and the principles of his philosophy.
